  • An owner of an executive search, based in Detroit, was searching for a Director of Operations for a design and engineering firm specializing in power infrastructure solutions for electric utilities. The company was launched in 2010 and had grown quickly, anticipating 40% growth in 2017. Their headquarters are in Chicago with satellite offices in Rockville, MD and San Pedro, CA. The Director of Operations would report directly to the President. We generated a list of 135 potential candidates and then contacted, these prospects and assessed their qualifications, as well as, their interest in the position and generated 18 resumes.  

  • A recruiter was conducting a search for a Senior Project Manager for a vertically-integrated, locally headquartered heavy civil contractor. The company specializes in the development of highways and streets, bridges and tunnels, water and waste water treatment plants, airports, dams and surface reservoirs and pump stations. The Senior Project Manager will supervise Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Engineer and Project Administrators. They were only interested in candidates from PA and MD.  We presented 25 resumes, from a list of 150 candidates, with a Heavy Civil/Highway/Bridge infrastructure background.

     

  • A recruiter, specializing in the construction industry, was awarded a search for a growing, dynamic and innovative construction solutions provider, based out of Canada, to fill a Midwestern Regional Vice President position. We quickly generated a potential list of 100 candidates with a VP/GM background and presented 20 resumes, within a week span of time

  • The Construction Recruiter, of a boutique, retained search agency, based in Charlotte, NC, was searching for a Construction Estimator. This was a tremendous opportunity that would assume a leadership role with a construction industry leader. They provided us with a list of 35 competitors in the NC area. We generated a list of 100 potential candidates, and then contacted these prospects and assessed their qualifications, as well as, their interest in the position and generated a short list of 10 candidates. The project took us approximately 20 hours.

     

  • The CEO, of a Houston based Executive Recruitment & Talent Management company was searching for a Foreign Exchange Sales Manager. Their client is a world leading, foreign exchange broker and international corporate payment provider with locations across 3 Continents, North America, Europe and Asia. The company has over 17,000 customers worldwide and 24 international branch offices. They trade in all major, international currencies. This role was a great opportunity to lead the growth of one of their branches and become a self-reliant, independent individual who would report directly to the Regional Sales Director – East. They provided us with a list of 35 targets in the PA area. We generated a list of 100 potential candidates, and generated a short list of 10 candidates.

  • A west coast search firm was retained to conduct a search for a Chief Financial Officer for a private equity company, with sales in excess of $257 million, that was involved in the acquisition and integration of dealerships in the motorcycle, personal watercraft, snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle industries. They needed to quickly find potential candidates in large multi-state dealerships. We were able to develop a target list for them, which was approved within 8 hours and then developed a list of 100 potential candidates for them to start recruiting, within 48 hours.

  • A recruiter specializing in the consumer product industry was awarded a search from a startup company that manufactured prestige skin care products and was recently awarded a significant equity investment, but a condition was required that they quickly hire a Vice President of Finance, who would also oversee the finances and operations of the company. One of the requirements, for this person, was that they have experience with companies that sell their products through home shopping or QVC type product organizations. We quickly backtracked personal care product companies, selling on all the major networks and developed a list of 120 candidates, in 72 hours, for them to present their opportunity and interview potential candidates. 

  • One of the Big Four search firms was over-loaded and needed assistance in generating candidates fast for a Vice President of Finance search they were conducting on behalf of a Fortune 500 industrial company. Their client was pushing them to get results quickly and the recruiter needed a list of potential candidates to call over the weekend, so that she could discuss results with the client on Monday, at their status meeting. They gave us a list of large capital equipment manufacturers and we generated 25 potential candidates, within 24 hours, with work and email addresses.

  • A recruiting firm landed a search for a Chief Technology Officer for a software firm that produced a sophisticated web application. They did not have a lot of in-house expertise in technology recruiting, so they asked us to develop a list of companies that produced a web-application. We included a bio for each company and presented the list to them for their client’s approval, in 24 hours. We then developed 50 potential candidates, from the approved list, within 48 hours, for them to interview.
